Robin Hill Farm offers a community inclusive environment combined with individual treatment programs, focused on improving the quality of life for people experiencing the effects of a brain injury. Our small programs are designed to provide structure and consistency in the daily lives of the individuals, while stressing community access and community interaction at every level.
Our programs offer residential rehabilitation, and may be considered a long-term alternative to institutional living, or a short-term step towards return to home. The objective is to provide these supports in the least restrictive environment possible. Our programs provide 24 hour support or supervision.
Robin Hill Farm provides socially based cognitive rehabilitation programs. A person considering one of our settings should be medically stable, not present a danger to self or others, and be diagnosed with a brain injury, either traumatic or acquired. We operate in a low stimulus, structured environment, with particular emphasis placed on re-learning skills that allow an individual to “live again” in the community.
Giving people with brain injuries the opportunity to “Live again” in a caring environment.
Based upon the belief that no two injuries are alike, Robin Hill Farm has been developing a community-inclusive continuum of care for the past 35 plus years. This concept allows us to offer the potential resident a program that reflects their individual needs, goals and capabilities. The continuum also gives a resident the opportunity to progress through our programs as gains are made. As important, this approach allows the resident to transfer to a more supportive environment, should the need arise. In summary, we believe that a person living with a disability should have the supports necessary to maintain the least restrictive lifestyle possible, while having access to rehabilitation that maximizes a person’s true potential.
Robin Hill Farm has seven programs located in three towns, all in close proximity to each other. Our maximum client population is 43 across all programs. Each is designed to offer rehabilitation options based upon individual needs.

Briefly, in order to be considered for admission into a Robin Hill program, the candidate must:
By design, we do not have medical or licensed active rehabilitation personnel on staff. We do, however, have a carefully selected group of Physiatrists, Neuropsychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists and Neuro-ophthalmologists available to our residents, if required. This approach lets the resident pursue a more normal lifestyle by “going to the Doctor”, rather than “the Doctor coming to me”.
